1999-2009 Honda 400EX Phoenix Performance Exhaust Insert, replaces factory spark arrestor on your stock muffler. Not just a shiny endcap but a tuned perrformance insert! The length of the insert tube is critical to sound performance and exhaust flow: this insert protrudes intothe chamber of your muffler, using the design of the stock muffler to produce the best performance possible. Replacing the factory insert, these spark arrestor inserts simply bolt on using thesupplied hardware and factory copper seal. No drilling required, simply unbolt stock unit, and bolt on the power. What you get is performance equivalent to many name brand exhaust slip-ons. And, the sound is awesome, performance without being too loud. 10-15% power increase over stock when used with the recommended jetting andno airbox lid! Noise output tests between 91-93db.

To obtain minimum size and weight with unmatched durability, the front rosettes are manufactured on a CNC machine from a solid block of special aluminum alloy
Include a lightweight, compact and high-temperature-resistant carbon fiber muffler clamp
Titanium bolts, with a special temperature-resistant sealant that prevents unseating, take the place of standard bolts
CAUTION: Akrapovic recommends you do not use any acidic cleaning solution (wheel cleaners, etc.) on this product. The use of these chemicals may lead to failure of the front rosette(s).
